How fees work

  • Insurance we work with

We bill many health plans, and we are out of network with others. Call us with your plan's name before your first visit and we will tell you what applies.

    • Most PPO plans

    • HSA and FSA cards

  • If you pay yourself

If you do not use insurance, you pay at the visit. Dr. Lofton tells you the cost of the exam and of any care before it begins.

  • Receipts for reimbursement

Ask for an itemized receipt (a superbill) at any visit. You can send it to your plan. A plan may reimburse part of it, and the plan decides.

  • An estimate in advance

If you do not use insurance, you have the right to a Good Faith Estimate. Ask us. We give you a written estimate before the visit.

  • Checking your benefits

We can go through your benefits with you, and your plan has the final word. Ask your plan whether you need a referral, what your deductible and copay are and how many chiropractic visits it covers.

  • What the first visit includes

Plan on about an hour. You talk, Dr. Lofton does a short exam and tells you what she finds, and care begins only if you agree.

Questions about paying

  • If you need to change a visit

Please call us as early as you can if you need to change a visit. Ask the front desk about our cancellation policy.

  • Visits for babies

A parent or guardian pays for a baby's visit, with the same written estimate as any other.

  • Questions about a bill

Call the front desk. We will go through it with you, line by line.

Ask for your estimate

The front desk gives it to you in writing before the visit.
